Terms of Service
Scoopy Doo Pet Waste Services is an independently owned and operated business (“us”, “we”, “our”). Scoopy Doo Pet Waste Services provides pet waste services to individual, business and commercial properties. By accepting Services provided by us (“Services”) you hire us for, you agree to the following Terms of Service (“Terms”) and are bound to those Terms.
The client (“Client”) fully understand that our ability to provide Services can be dependent on the weather, yard type and condition (rocks, tall grass, etc.), access to the yard which is the Client’s responsibility, as well as other known or unknown conditions that are beyond of our control.
Payments
We accept credit/debit card payments through Square payment services.
We do not accept cash, personal checks or money orders.
Pet Waste Services
Scoopy Doo Pet Waste Services provides residential and commercial pet waste services. These Services include One-Time Clean Up, Weekly Scoop Service and Outdoor Deodorising, as well as custom Services based on the Client’s needs and per mutual agreement.
Scoopy Doos’ pricing is based on outdoor areas of up to 250 square metres. Larger areas will incur an additional charge.
Accessing Client’s yard
The Client fully understands and accepts that if we cannot access the area needing cleaning due to locked/blocked/broken or unattended dogs or other animals in the yard, scoop Services will be skipped and charges will still be applied.
If the Client suggests we come back, an additional $5 driving fee will be added to the bill.
Weather
Scoopy Doo will work through the rain and cold as long as we feel safe to do so. The Client fully understands and accepts we cannot work through severe weather conditions such as thunderstorms, heavy rains, high winds, extreme temperatures, flooding, fires, etc.
We do not offer refunds for missed scoops due to weather conditions. In case of missed scoops caused by the weather, we will miss that week(s) and see you the following week when it is safe.
Public holidays
Scoopy Doo does not provide Services on public holidays. If your scoop falls on a public holiday, we’ll skip the scoop for that week and perform everything on the next week. We do not offer refunds for missed scoops, because we still have to perform the clean up and pick up all the waste from the previous week.
Billing
Scoopy Doo pre-bills monthly for our reoccurring Services. Your account will be charged on the 1st of the month for the Service. If your card is declined, we will discontinue our Services immediately until the billing issue has been resolved. If more than 30 days have passed since your last scoop Service, the first-time clean-up fee will be applied to your bill.
We will only pause our Services for the period of 30 days. If the Services do not resume after the 30-days period, you will be removed from the Schedule. One-Time Clean Up Fee will be billed after the Service has been completed.
One-Time Clean Ups will be billed after the service has been completed. Payment is due within 24 hours. If payment becomes more that 30 days late, Scoopy Doo will turn your account over to collections.
Cancellation
We reserve the right to cancel the Services provided to you at any given moment.
If you feel the need to cancel the Services on your own, just give us a heads up and we’ll say hooroo temporarily.
Leaves, debris, rocks and tall grass
Here at Scoopy Doo we will always do our best to clean up the yard/area the best that we can. We also understand that yard maintenance is a lot of work and that your yard may not always be in the best condition. The Client hereby understands and agrees that Scoopy Doo does not provide yard maintenance services, and that it can be very difficult to locate all dog waste in tall grass, especially grass covered in leaves and other debris.
If the grass in your yard is tall when we come, there might be some dog waste that we miss. We will come back on the next scheduled visit and clean everything we missed, after the maintenance of your yard has been completed.
Additional fees
Scoopy Doo will charge additional fees for the following items:
Application of deodoriser to outdoor surfaces
Servicing outdoor areas larger than 250 square metres
Scooping pebbled or gravelled areas
Privacy Policy
Scoopy Doo may collect your personal information through our Website or any other digital or personal communication form with you. The information we collect is entirely voluntarily provided by you and may include but is not limited to information such as: your name, address, email address, phone number, etc.
Our Website may collect other information about the service type you are requesting, such as the type of property, number of dogs, general info about your pets, etc.
We collect information about you solely for the purpose of providing our Services to you. All collected information is for our internal use at Scoopy Doo Pet Waste Services only. We will never sell or share your information to any third-party, except in cases of unpaid bills.
We may provide user information to third-party service providers or vendors for purposes of, including without limitation, processing your payments or sending information to you, data tracking, maintenance or development of our System. We may also share your personal information in connection with law enforcement requests or in response to investigations, subpoenas, court orders, or other legal processes to establish or exercise our legal rights or defend against legal claims or as otherwise required by law.
Revisions
Scoopy Doo Pet Waste Services provides the above mentioned Services to you as the Client. These Services are subject to Terms, which may be amended from time to time without notice to you.
We strongly recommend you visit the Website from time to time, and make sure you’re up to date with our Terms. Your continued use of our Services shall constitute the acceptance of the amended Terms. Some of the provisions contained in these Terms may also be superseded by provisions or notices published elsewhere on our Website.
